You’re ready for a new approach to therapy.

Maybe you’ve been to therapy before, and while it helped in some ways, you still find yourself stuck in old patterns, feeling triggered by similar situations or weighed down by emotions that don’t quite make sense in the present.

That’s where EMDR therapy can make a difference. EMDR is not only helpful for very traumatic memories, but also for moments where we may have felt hurt or deeply affected by something in our daily lives. EMDR helps your brain and body process painful memories or experiences that never fully healed, so they stop holding the same emotional charge today.

In our sessions together, we’ll work at your pace. EMDR can be used alongside traditional talk therapy to address perfectionism, anxiety, people-pleasing, and the other deep wounds that often come from childhood or past experiences. My goal is to help you not only understand your patterns, but actually feel the relief and self-trust that comes from healing them at the root.

EMDR therapy can help you process and release memories that feel “stuck”

  • During sessions, we use techniques like guided eye movements, gentle tapping on your knees, or specific sounds to safely activate and process these memories, allowing your mind to integrate painful memories in a healthier way.

  • In EMDR sessions, you’ll start by sharing your experiences and identifying memories you may want to work on.

You may notice emotions, thoughts, or physical sensations coming up as we process. Sessions are paced to your comfort, and over time, memories that once felt intense often become easier to manage, helping you feel more grounded and in control in the present day.

  • EMDR can reduce the emotional charge of traumatic or stressful memories, making them feel less overwhelming. It can improve self-esteem and even decrease anxiety or panic responses.

Beyond trauma, EMDR can support coping with everyday stressors, enhance emotional regulation, and even shift negative beliefs about yourself that developed from past experiences.

Over time, it can help you respond to triggers with greater calm and clarity rather than automatic fear or distress.

No matter what you’re going through, healing is possible…

You deserve a space where your experiences are met with understanding, and where you can finally feel safe to let go of what weighs you down.

Is EMDR right for you?

EMDR is a good fit for you if you…

  • You’ve been through talk therapy before, but still feel stuck in the same emotional patterns or reactions

  • Have certain memories, experiences, or relationships from the past that still feel “alive” in your body, even if you’ve tried to move on

  • You notice that perfectionism, people-pleasing, or overachievement often come from a place of fear, guilt, or needing to feel safe

  • You get easily overwhelmed, shut down, or feel on edge; especially in situations that don’t seem to “match” your emotional reaction

  • You’re ready to heal at a deeper level and finally feel calm, confident, and grounded in who you are today

What we can focus on:

With EMDR, you can…

Process the experiences that shaped how you see yourself and the world around you. Together, we’ll work through the memories and emotions that still influence your reactions today, whether that’s perfectionism, people-pleasing, anxiety, or feeling “stuck” in patterns that no longer serve you. EMDR helps your brain and body reprocess those experiences so they lose their intensity, allowing you to respond how you choose to, rather than react.

This approach goes beyond surface-level coping skills. It helps you release what’s been held in your nervous system for years, rebuild a sense of safety within yourself, and feel more grounded in the present. Over time, clients often notice more peace, self-trust, and the ability to move through life with greater ease and clarity.

Your past no longer has to define your present.

Questions?

FAQs

  • EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.

It sounds like confusing jargon, but EMDR is just a fancy way to say we’re helping your brain reprocess painful memories so they no longer feel as overwhelming in the present.

  • Yes! I believe that any event that had a lasting impact on you whether as a child, teen, or even in adulthood, can be reprocessed to ensure it doesn’t feel as painful or impactful when you look at it today.

  • That concern is totally valid, let me just say that we will never rush into EMDR or utilize it if you don’t want to!

During our work together, we will still prioritize getting to know each other for a few sessions, and learning about what you’re going through and making sure you have support outside of sessions before moving towards EMDR.

When working together, we can discuss what it might feel like when you are “ready,” so we can keep an eye out for that time.
